Noctua NF-S12B FLX 120mm Fan
As you can see Noctua has gone with their trademark packaging, like they did on the sister fan the NF-P12. There is basic information at the front of the packaging with a clear plastic window to let the customer see exactly what they are purchasing. At the back you're greeted with a list of the unique features that make up this fan. There is an additional panel that opens revealing further details of the fan's design and its capabilities, which we will go over in more detail on the next page.
Here we have a picture of everything that comes in the packaging, which includes:
- NF-S12B FLX 120mm Fan
- 3-pin to 4-pin adapter
- (2) Fan Speed Adapters
- (4) Standard Fan Screws
- (4) Vibration Compensator
In the second picture we have the 3 to 4 pin power adapter, below and to the left we have four Vibration Compensators, which can be used instead of mounting. Next to those are the 4 installation screws and below all of that the two fan speed adapter.
The two fan speed adapters, the U.L.N.A., which drops the RPM to 600, and the L.N.A. which drops the RPM to 900. These adapters have a resistor in-line that reduces to the current to the fan causing the rotation of the fan to decrease producing less CFMs and lower dBa (noise).
