SilenX IXC-120HA2 CPU Cooler
As we take a look at the packaging we can see that SilenX spent some time on the layout and visual appearance of their packaging. This certainly helps in grabbing the attention of people passing by; the vibrant red just pops along with the clear window which makes you want to pick it up and start checking it out. The information you expect to see at the back of the package is actually located on the sides of the package with three amazing pictures of instantly grab attention.
Lets look over each of those pictures on the side of the packaging. In the first picture you come across that they really put much focus on the base of the heatsink. The picture demonstrates the direct touch concept; more on that later in the review. The next picture talks about the fan that is included with this heatsink. The Ixtreme Pro series fan is certainly quiet but packs plenty of CFMs behind it making it a great fan to be paired with this heatsink. And finally, the last picture is of the fin configuration of the heatsink. It really shows off the quality and total amount of fins that are on this heatsink.
On the back of the packaging we have very little going on and well, not sure what the story behind this is but it surely is pretty plain aside from the specifications being listed towards the bottom.
Now this heatsink comes with only one 120mm fan. However, it does come with hardware to be able to mount a second 120mm fan. So for our review we picked up a second Ixtreme Pro 120mm fan so that we can do testing with both a single fan and dual fans mounted to this heatsink.
