So lets tear into this packaging shall we? First off we see another box that contains the accessories and installation instructions. Once that is removed we see that the CPU cooler is in its own protective clear casing to help prevent potentially damage when being handled. Although with enough excessive handing the packaging is not sufficient enough to prevent the heatsink from being damaged.

In the first picture we see the black circular ring that is used when mounting the heatsink to an Intel 775 based motherboard. Next up is the rest of the accessories that come with the heatsink which include: hardware for mounting up to two 120mm fans, in-line fan speed controller, cable for hooking up the fan controller to the cpu fan header, mounting tape, generic thermal paste, push pins for use with the 775 mounting hardware, and last but not least the installation instructions.

As mentioned an in-line fan speed controller is included and to be honest we aren't impressed. With the impressive quality of this heatsink we weren't expecting to bump into this plastic relatively cheap looking in-line fan speed controller. Don't get us wrong; it does the job but at the same time it would have been nice to have seen a PCI slot mounted fan speed controller instead so you can access it from outside the case. As for testing we did not use this device at all as we found that even with these fans at full tilt it was more than silent enough to warrant not needing it.
