Thermaltake SpinQ CPU Cooler
Thermaltake went with a basic, yet effective design for this box. The box is pretty much all white, except for the black top. The front has their logo, the product's name, a picture of the cooler, and a cut out window to see the product itself. The window spans the front and side of the box making it a unique view at a unique looking cooler. The back of the box is filled with information. It has a few pictures of how the cooler looks installed, inside of a Thermaltake case of course, and some descriptions of features. Seeing as this cooler is unique, an operation diagram is very helpful to show how the cooler actually works. We'll get to the uniqueness later in the review though. And least but not least are a few detailed pictures of the features described.
The right side simply lists some text saying this is a CPU Cooler, and Thermaltake's website should be visited for more detail in ten languages. It also has the wonderful UPCs and the manufactured date. The left side is a little bit more lively with specifications of the cooler, as well as what sockets it is compatible with. There are also six angled view images located at the bottom. And that pretty much finishes the tour of the SpinQ box. Lets open it up, eh?
Thermaltake uses a regular tab to keep the box closed. Simply pull back the tab and lift the top to open the box. When you open the box, you'll be greeted by a huge molded piece of plastic, similar to the previous Thermaltake coolers reviewed and Intel's stock cooler. Once you slip out the plastic you'll find the cooler itself is in the center while a small white box is located at the bottom. This box, obviously, includes all of the goodies required to install the cooler. To take apart the plastic, simply grab one side and lift up and away to the opposite side; you'll hear a snap, but don't jump!
