Today we will be reviewing the ‘FAN-ATIC’ 5-port military switch baybus but first a little bit about the company.

Lamptron develops and markets the next generation of high performance computer peripherals using the latest technology that enables a new level of interaction between the end-user and their personal computer. Products developed are through a combination of proprietary technology, innovation and ergonomic industrial design. There are three principal business sectors: PC Gaming products, PC Silence products, PC Modding products.

Products are designed and developed by their experienced Research and Development Department. Their engineering and R&D staffs specialize in user analysis, material control and industry design. Lamptron not only has expertise in product easy-to-use and product design, but they also plays a vital role in the enhancement of production efficiency and marketing analysis. They are constantly developing new products and technology to meet market demands and to generate new markets for our innovation products.

Now with that little blurb out of the way, lets start looking at this fan controller and first up is the specifications and features.

• Super bright LED voltage indicator (Blue/Red) on each channel (High Voltage- red, Low Voltage- blue, Off- off)
• Control over 60 watt per channel: Laboratory tested for a total power consumption of 300 W across the baybus
• Easy Access: 5 3-pin control connectors, 1 4-pin molex connector at the rear of panel
• Non-direct light technology LED voltage indicator to avoid any light interfere

The packaging for this fan controller is for a better word, unique. They utilize the same packaging for two different products, so half the box is the 'Fan-Atic' Fan Controller and the other half which we did not picture is the Hummer Fan Controller. There are two boxes with the two products listed with each box and a big red dot from a marker to distinguish which one in contained in the packaging although visually they are different in appearance.

Now when it comes to the internal packaging, this is loaded with thick shock absorbing foam which we found to be impressive. This packaging to take one heck of a beating and still your fan controller will come out on top working perfectly. This is great to hear for those who have items shipped to them and well their mail man or woman doesn't play nice with packages. Ours for one, sure doesn't we have caught them on many occasions literally tossing our packages onto the foot of our door.
