Noctua NT-H1
Long have been the days where the simple answer for looking for the best TIM's use to be, "oh, get Arctic Silver 5 they are the best," but now the years have passed and AS5 is starting to really show its age. Is AS5 still a fordable opponent in the market, yes, but its grip at being the best performing TIM is slipping and slipping quickly. With Noctua's NT-H1 on the scene AS5 is dropped even further down the latter of top performing TIMs and with Noctua's reputation at building only the highest quality products, once again stands firm behind their name and their new TIM product and we here at PCFlip look forward to using more of their TIM on upcoming reviews and projects.
| Area | Rating | Reason |
| Features | 5/5 | With this TIM solution being non-corrosive and non-conductive one doesn't have to worry about spilling some onto or coming in contact with any possible conductive points on the motherboard causing a short. As well as the ability to not need a burn in or cure time for it to be most effective. |
| Performance | 5/5 | This TIM outperforms generic TIM that comes with most coolers and out performs the legendary Arctic Silver 5, making this an ideal choice for the hardcore overclocker. |
| Value | 4/5 | At around the tested price of $8.99 this TIM isn't exactly the cheapest on the market but does yield nice results to warrant the additional cost. |
