Took some time for companies to figure out, but DoubleSight's got it. The first thing you see when you open up the styrofoam shell is the display itself, and THEN see all the paperwork and cables that are included. Everything included is wrapped in a small plastic bag and is located in its own dedicated snug little spot in the container.

Like the box mentions you get the display itself, the stand, a USB cable, a fastener, a quick installation guide, and last but not least a CD with drivers and the manual. It's a little disappointing to see no physical manual included, but I suppose it cuts down on costs and stuff inside the box. This also isn't really a product that requires a full installation guide, as it really is just plug & play. Most people wouldn't even miss the manual, but the manual is still available in a digital PDF format for those who would like to review it.

While we're discussing what's included, I'll just say right now that the CD only includes windows software and no Mac drivers although the specifications mentioned Mac OS X support. This is because Mac OS X support, like Windows 7 support, is currently in Beta and the Mac OS X drivers are available as a direct download from DisplayLink's website. And, although the CD contains Windows software on it Windows 7 is not supported via said software. Instead, Windows 7 will automatically detect and install the latest version of the software when the display is plugged in for the first time. This is a small limitation as the included software (for XP and Vista) offers a notification icon to flip the screen between portrait and landscape. This isn't too much of an issue as Windows 7 includes similar functionality without much of a hassle.
