NOVINT Falcon Haptic Gaming Controller
Yes, yes, we too noticed that's quite a large box for a gaming "mouse." Nonetheless, the front is simple and to the point with the logo, a picture of the product and a quote from IGN. The right side has two more quotes from other reviews, while the left side has a description of the device and some specs. There are also some more awards at the bottom, and another picture of the controller from a side view. The back of the box contains four more shots of the controller, from different views, as well as another quote, more text, and a happy monkey playing with the controller. At the bottom is a list of all that's included, as well as the games included with the controller. The top is just as simple as the front, but also has a handy handle for moving the box around, and yes it's quite heavy. The top is held in place with three flaps, but opens very easily when needed.
Upon opening the box you'll be greeted by a large two-piece Styrofoam shell. One side of the Styrofoam has a small area that contains the manuals, CDs and other papers. Removing the top shell reveals the Falcon, as well as all of the accessories in their plastic-wrapped glory. We were quite surprised how snug and well placed everything was. Not a single change of anything shifting around whilst in transport. The Falcon has a small block of pink anti-static foam around the front as it contains some electronics. Last thing we'd like is for things to get static and short from all that Styrofoam.
