The packaging is, for the most part, typical. Clear packaging that shows off the headset itself; one must admit though, it shows it off well. At the front of the packaging there is the model and below it is the features of this headset. The sides and top of the packaging hold no useful information, where as the back of the packaging contains more details on the design and functionality, as well as the headset specifications. Among that information there is variations of such information in multiple languages which continue on to the bottom of the packaging.

Before we cover the headset, lets go over the accessories. In the middle there is a sticker, simple manual, and driver CD containing the steel series USB sound card software. Below is a 3.5mm extension cable which, when used, gives you a total of 10ft of length and at the top is the USB Steel Series Sound card that has the built in 7.1 virtual sound software as well as 12 equalizer settings and more. On the main cable lead there is a control unit that allows you to adjust sound levels with a scroll wheel as well as mic levels which has a high, low, and mute setting, we will cover the mic settings in more detail later in the review, on the opposite side of the controller is a clip to allow for hooking on a shirt or belt loop, thus always in arms reach for quick access and quick muting, just in case.
